Al-furqan Charitable Foundation is a non-governmental organization founded in 2007, it is registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with RC NO.223336



VISION:
To build a free and progressing /developed society academically and socially.



MISSION:
to render academic and social services in an effective and efficient way to bring human development in Nigeria.



GOAL:
To call people to the religion of Islam according to the teachings of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.



MEANS:

1) Establishing centers which encompass several academic and moral activities.

2) Establishing academic institutions and modern Qur'anic Circles.

3) Providing voluntary social services (e.g. digging wells and boreholes).

4) Organizing workshops, conferences, and public lectures.

5) Women and youth empowerment programmes



THE FOUNDATION HIERARCHY:
The Foundation has board of Trustee which is the external apex Hierarchical body of The Foundation, within the organization there is an Executive Council made up of the Director General, Executive Director, All heads of Departments and the Secretary. It is the highest in the hierarchy of command in the Foundation. The Director General is the overseer of the activities of the Foundation. The Executive Director is responsible for all executive duties and implementations. All heads of departments are accountable to the Executive Director.



DEPARMENTS:

Al-furqan Foundation has five department as follows:

a) Admin Department headed by the Executive Director responsible for all day to-day administrative running of the foundation. Staff welfare and Supervision.

b) Department of Education: All school, Qur'anic Circles and other institutions of learning with their staff are under this department.

c) Social Welfare Department: this department cater for Imams, preachers. Mosques and All centers under the Foundation are under its supervision and control.

d) Department of Project: as the name connotes it carries out all buildings, construction of projects, and maintenance for the Foundation.

e) Account Department: it is responsible and accountable for all receipts and vouchers of all income and expenditure of the Foundation. It is also the custodian of other valuable documents of the Foundation.
